We Strive for a Safer Community

The Marquise Jones Foundation is committed to being a solid support resource in the community and building a stronger bridge to stop the gun violence plaguing our community, from both sides.
We offer a variety of programs to help local families grieve properly. This includes mental health counseling, funeral costs support, monthly picnic talks, education on violence deterrents and more. All of these we hope will help families cope better after the loss of their loved ones, and stay committed to their well being.
We are first religiously driven and driven by service. Volunteers in the Marquise Jones Foundation are the backbone of our organization. We offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved and make a difference in San Antonio.
The Marquise Jones Foundation (MJF), a nonprofit organization named after Marquise Jones who was killed by a San Antonio Police Officer in 2014. Formed in 2022 Deborah Bush (Aunt), Cheryl Jones (Mother), and Jones family came together with a vision to create a welcoming platform used to comfort grieving families.
